On October 7, 2020, Julie Abouchar will be presenting with Rosanna DiLabio from Pinchin Ltd. to the Northumberland Manufacturers' Association!
The title of their presentation is: Understanding Facility Air Emissions & Sewer Discharge Compliance Obligations, Regulatory Inspections & Investigations.
Manufacturing processes result in air emissions or water discharges. Air emissions require provincial air approvals. Discharges to sewers are regulated by the local municipality, while discharges to surface water are regulated by the province. Whether a provincial or municipal officer comes to call, manufacturers must understand their compliance rights and obligations and how to manage a regulator’s visit to their facility.
