Candice is dedicated to thoughtfully supporting clients with their environmental matters. Through her academic and professional background, Candice has developed a strong understanding of the interrelation between environmental issues, law, and business. Candice has experience providing advice on environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance, and helping clients navigate environmental claims.
Candice’s practice is focused on environmental law and includes environmental civil litigation, regulatory representation before the Ontario Land Tribunal, and defence of environmental prosecutions.
Candice provides advice about environmental due diligence to help her clients better understand their regulatory obligations. She helps clients assess and manage risks to capably address arising environmental matters.
Candice works with individuals, businesses, communities, municipalities, and corporations to achieve each client’s objectives. She has appeared before the Ontario Land Tribunal and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Divisional Court). Candice combines practicality and strategy to ensure a positive client experience.

Representation of Property Owner in Civil Claim
Assisted a property owner bringing a civil claim involving damages associated with contamination migrating to their property, which included preparing a pre-trial brief for pre-trial and subsequent materials in advance of trial.
Representation of Producer Responsibility Organization in Civil Claim
Assisted a Producer Responsibility Organization in bringing a civil claim for enforcement under Ontario’s extended producer responsibility legislation, which included preparing affidavits in preparation for judicial review, and preparing materials in response to a motion to strike the claim.
