On Friday, November 9, 2018, Charles J. Birchall will be chairing the session: Under the Microscope: Impact Assessment Act at the 29th Annual Meeting: CBA NEERLS & Department of Justice.

This session will discuss the most substantial changes and additions to Canada's environmental assessment regime including designation of projects, Indigenous consultation obligations, the public interest test for impacts, factors considered in assessing impact and ministerial discretion.

The meeting will take place at the Natural Resources Canada, Camsell Hall in Ottawa, Ontario.
