Gatlin Smeijers has accepted a sessional appointment with the University of Waterloo’s Faculty of Engineering, commencing January 8, 2020.  Gatlin will be teaching a 3 hour per week lecture on Law and Ethics for Environmental Engineers.  The course includes an introduction to Canadian law and regulation, an overview of key environmental legislation, and a discussion of professional engineering ethics.

After 13 years, Gatlin is excited to return to his alma mater to teach a course that inspired him as a student to pursue a career in environmental and regulatory law.
