Marc McAree Describes the Legal Risks of "Greenwashing"

Marc McAree is quoted in a Law Times article discussing the legal risks companies and individuals may face arising from false environmental claims. Marc notes that "greenwashing" could be happening in every industry that advertises bringing to the market an environmentally friendly or eco-friendly product. Marc warns of possible legal consequences from regulatory actions to class actions and individual actions. Lawsuits can also be framed in fraud, allege misrepresentation or breach of contract.
