John Georgakopoulos will be presenting at the Canadian Brownfields Network Conference: Brownfields - Revitalizing In A Changing Climate which is taking place at the Sheraton Centre Hotel, Downtown Toronto on Tuesday, June 14 2016.

John's presentation is titled Legal Update.  As the net of environmental liability continues to expand, it has become increasingly important to understand and manage environmental risks and liabilities associated with brownfields.  At the same time, a new focus on climate change federally and provincially may bring both risks and opportunities for brownfield projects.  At the 2016 CBN conference, John will discuss the latest legal developments, their impact on brownfield redevelopment, and how to manage related environmental risks and liabilities.
