The Willms & Shier Environmental Law Moot is Canada's first and only nationwide moot court competition devoted to environmental law.
It is open to teams from all Canadian law faculties.
The inaugural competition was held at the Ontario Court of Appeal on February 19, 2011. The next competition will be held on March 9, 2013, at the Court of Appeal for Ontario in Toronto. The competition case will be Smith v. Inco Ltd., 2011 ONCA 628. Registration will open on Monday, September 10, 2012. More details about the 2013 competition will be posted as they become available.
