W+SEL Leads Two Day Air Regulation and Nuisance Update in May

W+SEL lawyers, along with air, odour, noise and dust experts from RWDI will present two days of training on new legal and regulatory developments for industrial air emissions in Ontario.

Day 1 will cover legal and technical compliance with Ontario's new O. Reg. 419/05, plus updates on federal Greenhouse Gas programs and Ontario's NOx and SO2 regulation. W+SEL lawyers John Willms, Paul Manning and Vivienne Ball will address legal issues, including how to challenge MOE approval conditions and orders.

Day 2 covers legal and technical strategies for managing conflicts with regulators - negotiations with the MOE, managing investigations, and defending prosecutions. RWDI experts provide technical tips on managing fugitive dust, odours, noise and vibration.
