Bio

Sydney is passionate about helping people and getting the best outcome possible for clients. With her environmental science background and interest in evolving environmental issues and legislation, Sydney is able to make clients feel comfortable while competently handling a variety of client issues.  

Sydney’s practice focuses on environmental law and litigation, Indigenous law and natural resources law. Sydney supports a wide variety of clients, including Indigenous communities, individuals, corporations and boards. Sydney has experience appealing the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks’ Orders to the Ontario Land Tribunal, prosecuting and defending contaminated land lawsuits before Ontario’s Courts, assisting clients seeking regulatory approvals, and providing legal advice to First Nations communities and northern co-management boards.

Sydney is a strong advocate for her clients. She is dedicated to achieving pragmatic solutions while staying on the leading edge of environmental law and Indigenous legal issues.
