On Tuesday, March 28, 2017, John Georgakopoulos and Matthew Gardner will be speaking at the Aon Risk Solutions session titled Environmental Law: How Are You Impacted?

The session is from 8:00 am to 10:30 am and is taking place in Kitchener, Ontario at the Holiday Inn Kitchener-Waterloo Conference Centre (30 Fairway Road South).

This session will highlight the application and interpretation of environmental laws and how they can impact your organization. We will review the powers of the MOECC with court case examples and discuss current prosecutions with a focus on personal liability of corporate directors and offi cers. The insurance risk transfer was also adapted in Ontario; Aon will provide an overview of the risk transfer products and tips to minimize your unknown environmental risks. Attendees will also learn the changes the Ontario government is proposing to excess soil management.
