Charles Birchall will be speaking at the Canadian Bar Association's seminar "Conflicts Between Insolvency Law and Environmental Law and Resulting Directors' Liability Fallout".

The program, being held in Ottawa on September 23, 2014, focuses on the Supreme Court's settlement of the framework for the bankruptcy treatment of environmental claims and the Ministry of the Environment's widening reach to claim compensation from responsible parties - including corporate directors.
