2014 Environmental Case Law Year in Review

Canadian environmental case law during the past 18 months gave environmental lawyers much to talk about. Personal liability of directors and officers is more uncertain than ever following the Baker v Director (MOE) decision. Nuisance case law deviated from the path set out by Smith v Inco.
