Our Energy Law practice is focused on providing regulatory advice about environmental, energy, and land use planning project approvals.
We represent clients at hearings before the Ontario Energy Board, the Ontario Municipal Board the Environmental Review Tribunal, and in provincial and federal environmental assessment proceedings. Our work includes appeals and administrative challenges to tribunals and the Court.
We have tracked the Western Climate Initiative and advise our clients where emission trading arises in power purchase agreements and in transactions. Our clients include private energy proponents, industry, municipalities and interveners.
